Getting Started — AI Pre Review

This guide walks you through running your first pre-review, from creating an account to reading your report.

1. Create your account

2. Upload your manuscript

From your dashboard, choose Upload and provide your manuscript as a PDF or text file. Manuscripts must be written in English.

See our recommended manuscript structure to get the best results from your analysis.

3. Choose specialty and target journal

Select the specialty that best matches your work and the journal you intend to submit to. AI Pre Review maps your manuscript to that journal's specific requirements as well as the relevant reporting guidelines for your specialty.

4. Run the analysis

Start the review. The AI checks your manuscript on our private, secure servers — your submission is never seen by public AI platforms. Turnaround is immediate.

5. Review your report

Your report highlights gaps and provides prioritized, actionable suggestions across formatting, structure, references, statistics, figures, tables, grammar, and spelling. AI Pre Review does not rewrite your manuscript — you decide which suggestions to apply.

6. Revise and resubmit

Apply the suggestions you choose and resubmit for another analysis. There is no limit on the number of revisions you can run.
